When I was searching for a STEAM summer program that matched my interests and goals, I struggled to find one that truly aligned with my passions and unique characteristics. As a high school student interested in subjects like chemistry, biotechnology, and environmental science, I wanted a program that would not only challenge me academically but also provide a hands-on experience that could help me explore my future career path. However, the process of sifting through numerous programs, and comparing application deadlines, costs, and focus areas, was exhausting and time-consuming. I spent countless hours researching, but it often felt like I was missing something or that the programs I found didn’t fully meet my needs.

Many students face this same challenge. The sheer volume of available programs can be overwhelming, with each one offering different opportunities and specialties. According to a study by CollegeVine, students often spend significant amounts of time navigating these options, sometimes without clear guidance on how to narrow down their choices. It’s a frustrating process that can lead to unnecessary stress, especially when trying to balance schoolwork, extracurricular activities, and personal life.

This struggle inspired me to create a solution—a website that consolidates all the information in one place, making it easier for students to find the right fit for their academic and personal interests. By organizing data on a variety of STEAM programs, I aim to save students the time and effort I spent searching for the right opportunity.
